The French law firm Véron & Associés announced on 15th June 2009 in Paris the opening of a free repository website giving exclusive on-line access to the former French review on Patent law Dossiers Brevets www.dossiers-brevets.info.
This journal was created by Professor Jean-Marc Mousseron in 1975 and published by his research centre the Centre du droit de l’entreprise of Montpellier; the publication stopped in 2002, after his death.
The law firm Véron & Associés (www.veron.com), a leading patent litigation specialist firm in France, wanted to ensure that this work of one of the leading masters of intellectual property remains accessible.
With the permission of the Centre du droit de l’entreprise and of the late professor's family, Véron & Associés has digitalized and indexed the full collection of the Dossiers Brevets (1975-2002) for the benefit of the specialists and practitioners of patent law.
It can be accessed free of charge at www.dossiers-brevets.info where a search engine allows both full text and field searches.

A reception held at The Dorchester in London marked the culmination of Managing Intellectual Property’s five month-long World IP Survey research. The survey lists the top firms of each jurisdiction in tiers.
The 13th Managing IP international survey is based on research by teams in London, New York and Hong Kong that contacted more than 2 000 professionals involved in the field of intellectual property followed by several hundred individual interviews. The survey, covering 70 countries, distinguishes the law firms which were rated by their peers on the strength of their expertise and the depth of their ability to service clients. A distinction already awarded to Véron & Associés in 2006, 2007 and 2008.
Véron & Associés was represented by partners Isabelle Romet and Thomas Bouvet at the prize-giving ceremony.
Véron & Associés were also awarded the Trophée IP – Patents and Trademarks which was handed over a few days prior by the French publication Décideurs at an award ceremony on Thursday March 26, 2009 at the Armenonville estate in Paris.
The award is presented based on the findings of an independent jury composed of professionals from the legal, financial and corporate fields; this trophy rewards the best specialised law firm in Patents and Trademarks.
Isabelle Romet, Thomas Bouvet and Sabine Agé were present at the ceremony to receive the honours bestowed on them, the Trophée IP – Patents and Trademarks.
